It's been a minute!....

Geez!! seems like forever since I had a chance to play on this site! For me to be someone who never does anything or goes any where, I feel I have done a whole lot the past 3 weeks - not to mention my stage of great depression behind my great grand mother passing in early June. And it don' stop tho - I'm off to New Orleans for Essence Festival tomorrow morning - YaY!! I'm TOO geeked!!

Ok, so 2 weeks ago I won a trip to Orlando, FL to go to Disney World and to hang w/ Plies at a house party - won it on radio! EVERY assumes the win was just given to me, but I PROMISE it wasn't (shouts out to Shaun Babineaux and PARTY 93.3, lol - u guys ROCK babe!) - I REALLY won it..lol. Okay, so my trip was a HOT GHETTO MESS! OMG @ the other winners! I'm not going to say too much, because I blogged on my blog spot about it - but yo....muthafukas were FIGHTING in the club (2 different people), giving ORAL SEX in the club, SMOKIN WEED at the hotel, getting KICKED out of the pool for after hours swimming and a host of other outrageous things you only see on candid camera or hell date..LOL...It was TRULY a mind blowing experience!! http://cathrynmarie.blogspot.com for pics and all the drama! sweet jesus!!

Going through so much lately, I find myself using a quote that my good homie Kelly Cryer uses - "I'm ALL out of FREE"!! Like for real!! I'm sooooooooooooooo freakin sick of people in this "industry" - I don't even want to be called on for anything industry anymore - well except for certain people. But even dude I manage, my DJ, has pissed me off last week! He asked me to do something for him and I told him I couldn't because it was something my boss would not approve - this jerk monkey says "well how will she know?" WTF!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! The MAIN reason you fck wit me is because I'm LOYAL and HONEST and you want me to be disloyal to a woman who has helped me to be the woman that I am, the woman who has inspired me to be more than I thought I was, the woman that has been LOYAL to ME for over a year and a half when everyone else was doubting me because I was learning too much too fast or because they didn't understand my work ethic. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! Not even that but its my 9-5, yo..why would you have me risk that even if she doesn't find out? Then he wants to fuss at me for being busy when he calls, WHILE I'M AT WORK or forgetting to call him back. NEGRO - I'm DEPRESSED!! I lost my world recently! I lost the woman who taught me to kind, generous, loyal and a woman in general. She taught me to cook, bake, cater, and love unconditional; I'm SAD yo!! Have you checked up on me since I've been back from Cali? No, you just call wanting me to do something for you. Sad thing it is things on documents that you can type but refuse to - wtf can't you delete ONE word, B?

So yea - I've taken time to myself and I honestly think that my winning my trip was a gift from my Granny. My first genuine smile in over 2 weeks came when Crisco Kidd called me and told me I won! Thanks Granny! My smile continues to shine as I get ready to go to NO and spend time with my favorite cousin, a beautiful soul that I grew up with in my Granny's home and my big sister and 2 friends! I'm soooo excited!
