You can’t help, but feel the emotional draw from T.I.’s delivery. An emotion, that gets you thinking about struggles you face, with life, work, home, family, start-up ventures or business partners.

In that slight moment of reflection, your spirit is overcome… Continue

I apologize br'er. I haven't been on the site like I should. At times like these, I need to connect with as many positive people as I can to see how to bring about the positive "Change" that we all are striving towards. Let's connect and see where the synergies may lie

What's up man, thank you for the add. Boardroomb-boys.com is my site dedicated to peer-to-peer mentoring and networking for young professionals who grew up during the hip hop era. The goal is to profile young people that are doing it, going after their dreams, without sacrificing their integrity, and build a network of like-minded individuals. On the site I post blogs, usually starting with a line from a hip hop song, because I believe there are many career management jewels that can be found in many songs. I also do a series called "Success and its outcome" in which I do like a 20 min filmed interview of cats who have gone after and achieved their success.

The first interview, for example, was of a good friend of mine who purchased his first investment property at the age of like 22, making $10.60 an hour, and now, ten years later owns about $1.5M in real-estate. These are the people that I wanna showcase. The site is just starting out but I'm very excited about it. I wanna showcase and glamorize young professionals just as we glamorize hip-hop artists b/c the reality is, a young person has a better chance at making in the real world, rather than becoming an entertainer. I just wanna show that there are other ways of getting it besides sports and entertainment. You know, that's just one chamber, there are 35 more!

I really believe that with success comes responsibilities, specifically philanthropic, so eventually, once things are in place, I plan on going to high schools and colleges and spreading the word, just to let the younger ones coming up know that their are resources out there, that relate to them, that they can tap into. It seems like you and I are on the same page.

I'm just reading your message today! Only a month and 1/2 later. My apologies. I'm sure the opportunity has passed but I'd still be interested in hearing what it was.
