Give Fabiola- 4x Entrepreneur, Visionary, Hustler, Motivator, Leader- The Future! a Gift
You have now entered into the world of Fabiola- entrepreneur, visionary, hustler, leader, and now newly appointed Nat'l Director of Public Relations for FAMU's Nat'l Alumni Association (FAMUNAA)- approved & appointed by FAMUNAA president, Dr. Alvin Bryant. Don't be alarmed by what you see or read. Simply get motivated!
A little about me:
Came to FAMU (SBI to be exact), never lived in the dorms, hit the books hard, had more than enough fun, but did it all in 4 years, and got out in 2003 quick, fast, and in a hurry! From T-town, I left for the ATL to attend grad school at Clark Atlanta University. Also did that in 2 years and got out in 2005 with an MBA degree in Marketing. I established my first business during my 1st year in grad school, which was an online women's shoe store, Fabulous Feet.
Fast forward to today:
Since a kid, I declared that I would be my own lady & own my own. From making money at age 12 selling chips & candy on the school bus to now being CEO of 2 entertainment marketing & public relations firms, N.Y.L.A. Entertainment Group and Blueprint Creative Group. N.Y.L.A. Entertainment Group serves the music, fashion, & entertainment industries while Blueprint Creative Group serves corporate, non-profit, small business, and real estate development industries.
Blueprint Creative Group's current roster: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami, United Way of Broward, Central Atlanta Progress, Lambi Fund of Haiti, Tommy Mills for Leon County Sheriff, & the FAMU National Alumni Association (FAMUNAA).
N.Y.L.A. Entertainment Group's partial roster list: HBCUEntrepreneurs.com, Hip Hop Grub Spot(R), Okonali Fashions, Miri Ben Ari- the Hip Hop Violinist, Brian Rikuda- winner of BET's/Damon Dash's "Ultimate Hustler" reality TV show, Omillio Sparks of Roc A Fella's State Property, to name a few.
Life Philosophy:
As a believer in true, generational wealth, I became a real estate investor & purchased a few properties. The way I look at things, you might as well run across the entire industry. So, I became a licensed Georgia real estate agent, will be pursuing a broker's license in Florida later this year to establish a boutique real estate brokerage & consulting firm to eventually establish a mortgage brokerage firm within the next year. (So if you're looking for a home in the ATL or Florida, I'm the woman to call!)
Besides my 2 main businesses in marketing & PR and real estate, I'm always working on creating new ventures & have 2 new projects- Fabulous Feet will re-launch fall 2008 and I've just recently established a print brokerage business to serve governmental print needs. I believe in sharing the knowledge, and I'm all about entrepreneurship, especially among African-Americans. These tough economic times are a true testament that entrepreneurship, business development, and community investments is particularly important.
Which brings me to this monumental point in my entrepreneurial career. I've just been recently appointed as the National Director of Public Relations for FAMU's National Alumni Association (FAMUNAA) by the association's president, Dr. Alvin Bryant as of July 8, 2008.
My focus as PR Director for FAMUNAA focuses on these two platforms:So consider me your ally to the university & to the world. Behind the scenes I'm currently aligning FAMUNAA with major corporate & financial institutions that can contribute to the university & help us in developing institution-wide programs & opportunities. Likewise, I serve as your voice to the FAMUNAA & to the university. Share your opinions, comments, & suggestions with me and I will communicate it to the powers that be.
Needless to say, some call me "Hustler." Others say "Risk-taker." I say "Go-getter" because I go get it, but you can call me Fabiola or "Fabulous."
As you can see, by far do I live a simple life because I want more than just simple things. Ultimately, I'm working on pursuing my larger objective of having a healthy net worth of one million by age 30.
In summary, none of my accomplishments or future successes is by my own doing. I owe it all to the Lord, my faith, and a strong spirituality. It would not be possible if I didn't believe that there was a greater purpose for me and that I could be a blessing to others. My words to you is to know that it's greater than you. Regardless of what you want & what you're working towards, know that it'll take you believing in something greater than just yourself. I walk by faith & not by sight and that means that sometimes I walk with my eyes closed and arms stretched out knowing that if I keep moving forward without looking back, I'll find my way. Likewise, sometimes, doing great things means stepping out on shaky and/or risky grounds, and if you believe in yourself, you can do it. Because of my faith I believe that the Lord will catch me, but regardless of what/who you believe in, know that if you fall, the universe will catch you. You put out good & good will come back to you!
Like I said, I want it all so I do it all. What more can I say!
It's obvious that McCain's choice for Sarah Palin has struck a bad nerve among all of us, especially with the cheap jab the decision obviously made at Obama and Clinton's female supporters. With all of the controversy surrounding her and her family, it's obvious that she's not adequately fit to be VP. Besides that, Michelle Obama is known as "baby mama" to the New York Times but Bristol Palin's pregnancy is apparently not a problem? Come on now.Posted on September 6, 2008 at 5:00pm — 1 Comment
